Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and administrative skills, along with excellent communication abilities to effectively interact with customers and internal staff. This role focuses on service coordination, documentation, and customer support.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally and document their service requests.
  • Accurately write, open, and manage service orders in the system.
  • Prepare and provide service estimates based on customer requests and internal guidelines.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and service staff to ensure clear communication.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding service status and timelines.
  • Perform administrative tasks including filing, answering phones, data entry, record maintenance, and documentation accuracy.
  • Maintain service records and ensure all required paperwork is complete and properly organized.
  • Assist with scheduling services and coordinating workflow.
  • Handle basic billing, invoicing, and payment processing as needed.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and professional service area.
  • Support management with general office and administrative duties as assigned.
Skills
  • Dealership or service office experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with computer systems, software, and data entry.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail for accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Basic sales or upselling skills to promote services when appropriate.
  • Ability to manage financial transactions accurately.
