Manufacturing Technical TrainerDevelops and conducts manufacturing training initiatives, including onboarding of new employees and on-going training of job skills, skills enhancements, continuous improvement (Lean processes), and quality program.
Maintains training documentation and skill levels of employees in Excel and Learning Management System (LMS).
Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000K

- Complete daily technical training in classroom setting and on the floor to assist with certification and skills enhancement of team members in their roles
- Use independent decision-making to design and develop training materials, reference materials, presentation materials, and job aids (SOPs, Guided Workflows, Technical Learning Aids)
- Ensure all materials are clear, concise, instructionally sound, and directly support learning objectives
- Develop and revise courses and prepare appropriate training catalogs
- Prepare student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms)
- Partner with manufacturing leadership, human resources, and Sr Technical Training Specialist to support development and implementation of training roadmap for operational effectiveness, as needed
- Assist with tracking, evaluating, and measuring training using the company's corporate LMS and department tracking tools and matrices
- Develop, build, and maintain relationships with trainees & leaders to recommend additional training
- Develop and implement apprenticeship programs in alignment with training roadmap
- Participate in new employee onboarding process – assess candidates' skill levels (general equipment/machine, accuracy, industrial experience, and provides perspective)
- Conduct training on all shifts
- Influence others to be safety-minded
- Support managing day-to-day certification processes and be supported by Sr Technical Training Specialist, plant management, and job-specific subject matter experts (SMEs) with training tools & general knowledge content
- Ensure compliance with all requirements of Daifuku policies and procedures
- Drive sustainable process outputs that support continuous improvement, leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Education and Experience Requirements:
- 3 years experience conducting/leading training, including on-the-job training, or similar, in a manufacturing or technical environment
- 4 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
- Proven facilitation/presentation/platform experience
- Experience leading Lean processes or Kaizen events
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
- Experience with LMS system preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office and database software
- Knowledge of traditional and modern training methods and tools
- Excellent problem solving / continuous improvement skills
- Ability to effectively present complex information to a variety of audiences in a variety of methods
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills and use of presentation software
- Strong decision-making and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
- Ability to speak and read the English Language
