Responsibilities- Performing material expediting and transaction verification for urgent/priority work order requirements
- Investigating databases, locating materials, and distributing to departments as required
- Running critical material reports, coordinating movement and obtaining status and location of critical material
- Following up on past due material and preparing daily reports to supervisor of material delays affecting work orders
- Performing clerical duties and maintaining accurate records and files of activities
- Receiving, unpacking, and delivering goods; restocking items as necessary; labeling shelves
- May lead, guide, and train staff, student employees, and interns performing related work
- Performing other duties as assigned based on Inventory Department needs
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Education and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
Requirements:
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and programs
- Detail‑oriented, organized and thorough
- Ability to multi‑task and provide team support
- Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods
- Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills
- Good interpersonal skills for working with various departments
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Medium work:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects - Stooping:
Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles - Standing:
