• Performing material expediting and transaction verification for urgent/priority work order requirements
• Investigating databases, locating materials, and distributing to departments as required
• Running critical material reports, coordinating movement and obtaining status and location of critical material
• Following up on past due material and preparing daily reports to supervisor of material delays affecting work orders
• Performing clerical duties and maintaining accurate records and files of activities
• Receiving, unpacking, and delivering goods; restocking items as necessary; labeling shelves
• May lead, guide, and train staff, student employees, and interns performing related work
• Performing other duties as assigned based on Inventory Department needs
• Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures
• Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction

Education and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Requirements:

• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and programs
• Detail‑oriented, organized and thorough
• Ability to multi‑task and provide team support
• Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods
• Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills
• Good interpersonal skills for working with various departments
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Medium work:
  Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Stooping:
  Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles
• Standing:
  Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
• Lifting:
  Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles
• Grasping:
  Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm
• Visual:
  The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles. Visual:
