Overview

Manufacturing Company with Career Development Opportunities! Comprehensive Benefits Package! Full Time, 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm. Must be able to read exact tape measurements and blueprints.

Responsibilities
  • Following the Safety policy, including PPE.
  • Setting up and operating press brakes and other equipment on a variety of parts of all shapes and sizes.
  • Checking products against standards for conformance to specifications.
  • Following specifications in job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints.
  • Observing machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
  • Performing minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
  • Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Requirements:

  • Math skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Knowledge of standard and metric measurements.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques.
  • Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented.
  • Team orientation.
  • Crane operation certification required.
  • Forklift operation certification required.
  • LOTO certification preferred, but not required.
  • Availability to work on Saturdays as needed.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
ADA Requirements
  • Medium work:
    Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Reaching:
    Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
  • Standing:
    Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
  • Walking:
    Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
  • Pushing:
    Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
  • Pulling:
    Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
  • Lifting:
    Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.
  • Grasping:
    Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
  • Hearing:
    Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound.
  • Repetitive motions:
    Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Visual:
    The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
Job Conditions
  • The worker is subject to: inside environmental conditions:
    Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
  • The worker is subject to: hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
