Summary
The Paint Prepper loads and/or unloads parts from a continuous line while maintaining an organized and safe work area, and assists the team lead as required to maintain a high level of team productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities- Selecting proper hanging devices
- Identifying parts related to work orders
- Loading/unloading parts on powder coat line
- Comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures
- Ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Ability to read and follow work orders and numerical instructions
- Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Team orientation
- Crane operation experience preferred but not required
- Forklift operation experience preferred but not required
- Big Joe operation experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Medium work:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects - Climbing:

Close visual acuity required for tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, using measurement devices, and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes
- Worker is subject to inside environmental conditions with protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes
- Worker is subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or chemicals
- Worker is required to function in narrow aisles or passageways
Salary: USD $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
