ILUS - Sales Order Picker (Daifuku North America)

Picking sales orders by accurately identifying and pulling materials and delivering them to the requested destination.

• Picking parts of various sizes, shapes, and weights according to sales orders.
• Placing parts carefully in kits to avoid damage.
• Delivering part orders to the requested packaging area.
• Meeting expectations for number and accuracy of sales orders picked.
• May be required to use material handling equipment (forklift, stand‑up forklift, Big Joe) following all safety rules.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Reading and maintaining information in the inventory system, ensuring accurate records.
• Complying with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
• Ensuring sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement for leading‑industry performance and customer satisfaction.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment a plus.
• Experience with inventory a plus.

• Good computer skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and use basic math in English.
• Good organization skills.
• Good time‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented.
• Team‑oriented.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.

• Medium work:
  Exerting up to 40 lb occasionally, up to 20 lb frequently, or up to 10 lb constantly.
• Reaching:
  Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
• Standing:
  Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
• Walking:
  Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances.
• Lifting:
  Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally.
• Fingering:
  Picking, pinching, typing, or other finger‑based tasks.
• Grasping:
  Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.

• Hearing:
  Perceiving sounds at normal speaking levels.
• Repetitive motions:
  Making movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

• Required for close visual tasks: preparing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection of small parts, using measurement devices, assembly or fabrication of parts.
• Required for operating motor vehicles.
• Required for determining accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work.

• Inside environmental conditions:
