Position Summary
The Paint Prepper loads and/or unloads parts from a continuous line while maintaining an organized and safe work area, and assists the team lead to maintain a high level of team productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Selecting proper hanging devices
• Identifying parts related to work orders
• Loading/unloading parts on the powder coat line
• Comply with Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures
• Ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read and follow work orders and numerical instructions
• Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Team orientation
• Crane experience preferred but not required
• Forklift experience preferred but not required
• Big Joe experience preferred but not required
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

ADA Requirements

• Medium work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, etc.
• Climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, etc.
• Reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, repetitive motions
• Visual requirements for data preparation and inspection

Job Conditions

• Inside environmental conditions; protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes
• Hazards including proximity to moving parts, vehicles, electrical current, scaffolding and high places, exposure to heat or chemicals
• Function in narrow aisles or passageways
