Sr. Staff Accountant

• Manage month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and various reporting functions.
• Review revenue recognition and make necessary adjustments for close.
• Research and investigate accounts, maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, and conduct variance analysis.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Participate in the development and review of annual operating budgets.
• Assist in quarterly, interim, and year-end financial processes.

• 3-5 years of accounting experience with SAP and in the manufacturing industry.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, X‑lookups, and V‑lookups.
• Direct experience working with SAP within the last year, with the ability to explain different modules and T‑codes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.

They have recently secured a large contract, which promises a stable and promising business outlook for the next three years. The warehouse is expanding, currently employing over 300 people. The accounting and finance team is currently understaffed, offering opportunities for growth as the team stabilizes.

This role will sit in the Hobart, IN office.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hobart, IN.
