The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers who ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized, safe, and high‑quality care. The role is administered by Nurse Managers and supported through Wellstar’s Shared Governance Model, the Wellstar Professional Practice Model, and evidence‑based practice.

• Exemplary Practice and Outcomes – Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence‑based practice and critical thinking to individualize care.
• Teamwork and Collaboration – Coordinate safe, quality patient care, complete timely documentation, and promote an inclusive, respectful clinical environment.
• Professional Development and Initiative – Complete required competency assessments, mandatory education, and mentor other professional nurses and staff.
• Evidence Based Practice and Research – Promote evidence‑based practice, participate in value analysis, and collect data that informs practice improvement.
• Resources and Support – Plan patient care across the continuum, develop protocols, and support efficient use of resources.
• Required for All Jobs – Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all Well Star policies, standards of work, and the code of conduct.

• Required Minimum Education – Diploma from an accredited nursing program. Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) is preferred.
• Required Minimum Experience – Minimum 2 years of direct patient‑care nursing experience.
• Required Minimum Skills –

• Required Minimum License(s) And Certification(s) – Reg Nurse (Single State), RN – Multi‑state Compact, Basic Life Support (BLS), BLS – Instructor, BLS – Provisional.
