Be a part of a team that has been kettle‑cooking New York‑style bagels for over 35 years, serving high‑quality Vermont cream cheese and delivering work‑life balance. Our stores close at 2 p.m. so you’ll never miss a dance recital or a once‑in‑a‑lifetime concert.

Our General Managers oversee every aspect of the store with a "treat it like you own it" philosophy. You’ll start the first shift at 4 a.m. to bake, open the store, then keep the day running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the store is audit‑ready and that catering, mobile, and in‑store orders are executed with exceptional quality.
• Providing an outstanding customer experience and maintaining high survey scores.
• Floating across all positions during rushes, keeping up with breaks, and tracking inventory.
• Handling daily cash deposits and preparing the store for the next day.
• Administering the 30–45 minute closing process and managing the 5‑week training for new hires.

• 1–3 years of General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting.
• Hands‑on operational leadership with a talent for motivating and inspiring a team.
• Experience with P&L analysis and proven strategies for achieving food‑cost goals and labor targets.
• Recruiting, developing internal talent, and building a strong team.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Competitive Pay – $70,000 – $72,000
• Annual bonus – over 60% of GMs were bonused last year

Hourly Rate: $19.50 – $34.13 per hour (depending on local and state minimum‑wage regulations).
