We are seeking a Calibration Technician/Electrical with 2+ years of experience and/or training. This role supports production and engineering teams by calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical tools and fixtures, including legacy equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and enjoys solving technical challenges.
Requirements:
· Experience calibrating, repairing, and maintaining electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical test equipment.
· Experience working with legacy equipment and recommending new tools or upgrades.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and technical specifications.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Familiarity with quality standards and calibration procedures.
· Basic computer skills: experience with ERP or equipment tracking systems is a plus.
· Effective communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
· Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities:
· Aids In process inspectors in the conducting of in-process and finished goods testing
· Fabricate electro-mechanical components per engineering documents and drawings or instructions from engineering staff
· Maintain the calibration program, including schedules, equipment tracking, and repair component inventory.
· Repair and maintain legacy equipment to ensure continued accuracy and reliability.
· Recommend new equipment or upgrades to improve testing, calibration, and production processes.
· Read and interpret manuals, engineering drawings, and specifications to perform calibrations, repairs, and assembly tasks accurately.
· Coordinate external calibration services when needed.
· Support production testing for in-process and finished products.
· Build, assemble, test, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical fixtures and assemblies.
· Assist engineering with component selection, fixture design, and product development.
· Document experiments, tests, and calibration results clearly.
· Participate in troubleshooting initiatives, including acoustic and sonar systems.
· Recommend improvements to calibration processes, tools, and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
