Talent Manager, HR Manager, Employee Relations
Overview
People & Organization (Human Resources) Advisor-Manufacturing – onsite at our Hingham, MA manufacturing site. Reporting to the People & Organization Workforce Solutions team, this role focuses on People Relations and HR Operations within a manufacturing environment. You will manage employee relations matters, promote positive employee experience, and ensure consistent application of People & Organization policies. You’ll collaborate across the People & Organization ecosystem, site leadership, and Shared Services to drive solutions, review employee lifecycle changes, and address workforce challenges.
This is a generalist HR role that supports day-to-day operational needs and helps create a positive work environment, with potential support for other mid-size manufacturing sites as needed.

Responsibilities- Fostering a Positive Work Environment:
Engage employees empathetically, promote open communication, and act as a bridge between employees, leadership, and stakeholders. - Facilitating Dispute Resolution:
Identify root causes of conflicts, provide counsel, and propose fair resolutions compliant with company policies and handbooks. - HR Systems and Data:
Navigate, troubleshoot, and consult on HRIS/data systems; approve employee data changes; audit HRIS data; validate transactions for accuracy and compliance; assist with organizational changes and org chart updates; partner with Shared Services on data quality and processes. - Training and Onboarding:
Provide or coordinate training on HR topics for managers and employees; conduct onboarding and P&O orientation for new employees. - Onsite Presence:
Maintain a consistent onsite presence reflecting the employee and management populations. - Continuous Improvement:
Diagnose bottlenecks in processes/systems and implement improvements while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders; drive complex issue resolution and proactive risk mitigation with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, focused on People Relations and Employee Relations.
- 3-5 years of experience coaching and guiding managers on people relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- 3+ years of experience with HR policies/procedures, with a track record of responsiveness, quality service, and process efficiency; strong attention to detail.
- On-site availability for 4 days per week, with potential for second shift coverage.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy, protect data, and use data responsibly.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Data-driven thinking to influence decisions, solve problems, and implement HR solutions aligned with business goals.
- Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and multi-project management skills; ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication across all levels to foster trust.
- HR systems experience (e.g., Workday) preferred.
- HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Pay range and incentive: $82,538-$141,494 annually with a target incentive of 10% of base salary. Actual pay may vary by budget and candidate experience.
- Bilingual in English and Vietnamese is a preferred site qualification.
