Overview

This Lifeguard training position is located at Fort Stewart Pools, Fort Stewart, GA. The role includes lifeguard duties under close supervision with detailed guidance. Incentives will not be paid.

• Work as a certified Lifeguard under close supervision.
• Complete mandatory lifeguard certifications within 30 calendar days of employment.
• Upon certification, be reassigned to Recreation Aid (Lifeguard), PD #3206, to guard an assigned aquatic facility.

• Direct deposit and social security card required.
• Meet all qualification, eligibility, background, and E‑Verify requirements.
• Probationary period of one year may apply.
• Must have current health assessment indicating good physical health and free from communicable disease per Army Policy.

• Must be able to swim and complete lifeguard certifications.

Open to candidates located within a 50‑mile radius of Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield, GA. Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included.
