Systems Administrator; Associate

Overview

GCyber is hiring a System Administrator to support our government customer in Fort Stewart, GA. As the System Administrator you will be the point of contact for identified customer issues or requests.

• Install, administer, and maintain server hardware, virtual environments, operating systems, and enterprise applications, ensuring stability through monitoring, testing, and patch management.
• Manage Active Directory services, including user and group administration, permissions, Group Policy (GPO) configuration, and baseline compliance enforcement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, server, and user issues; collaborate with users to remediate incidents and maintain operational continuity.
• Implement and manage data backups, disaster recovery processes, security patch remediation, and compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations.
• Use Power Shell to execute routine administrative tasks, perform system maintenance and collect operational data.

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• IAT Level II Certification (i.e., Security+, CCNA – Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)
• One year of relevant experience in IT systems and server administration (DoD enterprise environment strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Windows servers, including, Active Directory, and GPO.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing Power Shell scripts to automate systems administration functions within Enterprise IT environments
