T. R. Long Engineering, P.C., a family-oriented civil engineering firm serving communities across Georgia, is seeking a Georgia Registered Professional Engineer to join our growing team. This position is for a licensed Civil Engineer with experience in roadway design, site development, water and sewer systems, and municipal infrastructure. This is not a software engineering position. We have openings in both our Hinesville and Statesboro offices.

Required Qualifications- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Georgia
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience in transportation or land development
- Strong experience with Autodesk Civil 3D (civil design, grading, utilities)
- Experience preparing construction documents and technical specifications
- Experience coordinating with local, state, and federal permitting agencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred (Bonus): Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification
- Design roadway improvements including pavement design, grading, drainage systems, curbs, and gutters
- Perform hydrology and hydraulic calculations for storm drainage systems
- Prepare roadway construction plans specifications
- Commercial and retail site layout design
- Residential subdivision design and lotting plans
- Grading and drainage design
- Stormwater management and BMP design
- Erosion control planning
- Water main extensions and groundwater well design
- Sanitary sewer collection systems and pump stations
- Pressure and flow calculations
- Assist with water and wastewater treatment system design
- Prepare detailed design calculations and reports
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies for permitting
- Conduct site investigations and field reviews
- Make periodic construction site visits
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Hydrology/Hydraulic modeling software (preferred)
