MASTER VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / DIAGNOSTIC TECHNICIAN
Basic Salary:
Up to £39,000 DOE
OTE: £45,000

Hours:

Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:30
Saturdays: 08:00 - 12:30 (rota)

Contract:

Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Master Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, professional dealership in Hinckley. This role is suited to a senior-level technician who is confident handling complex diagnostics, advanced mechanical repairs, and supporting workshop efficiency.
You'll be trusted with the jobs others can't resolve, given the time and tools to diagnose faults properly, and supported with ongoing manufacturer training.

The Role
As a Master Technician, your responsibilities will include:

· Advanced diagnostics and fault-finding using manufacturer systems

· Complex mechanical repairs including engines, gearboxes, and driveline work

· Supporting and mentoring junior technicians when required

· Completing repairs to the highest manufacturer and safety standards

· Accurately documenting diagnostic findings, repairs, and VHCs

· Ensuring first-time fix quality and efficient workshop flow

What We're Looking For

· NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (essential)

· Proven experience operating at senior / diagnostic / master technician level

· Strong diagnostic capability across mechanical and electrical systems

· MOT Licence desirable but not essential

· Own tools and toolbox

· Full UK manual driving licence (subject to checks)

· Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
