Up to £30,000 + bonus

A vacancy has arisen for a Junior Technical Support Engineer to carry out calibration, maintenance and servicing of pharmaceutical production equipment. This role would suit an up and coming engineer looking for a fantastic employer to grow and learn.

• Proactive and reactive maintenance of pharmaceutical equipment – both 3rd party and in‑house designed.
• Carry out all disciplines of maintenance and calibration to pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
• Follow company SOPs and produce documentation and certification that is clear, precise and accurate.
• Conduct failure analysis and put forward recommendations to alleviate future failures, enhancing reliability.
• Use health & safety software to write risk assessments, COSHH assessments and permits to work when necessary.
• Create and update records in the company quality management system (Q‑Pulse).

• Have a minimum level 3 qualification in Engineering.
• Be flexible to occasional extended hours/weekend work (in addition to a normal 37‑hour, 5‑day shift operation).
• Be comfortable working in a highly regulated environment (existing knowledge of GMP practices beneficial but not essential).
• Have experience using Microsoft Office suite.
• Have an analytical mind with acute attention to detail.
• Have good problem‑solving abilities.
• Be a strong team player.
