Assembly Operative

Pay: £15.27 per hour

Job Description:

Our client is a prestigious motorcycle manufacturer based in Hinckley. They are looking for experienced operatives to work in their Assembly Facility

Rate of pay is £15.27 per hour.

Hours of work:

* 7am – 4pm Monday – Thursday

* 7am – 12pm Friday

(Maybe required to work until 5pm depending on build plan)

The role:

* Component assembly using hand and air tools

* Packing bikes for despatch

* Be confident in dealing with small parts

The job mainly involves working on stationary bikes - so you will be standing for long periods of time. You will also be required to work with takt times - so speed and dexterity is an essential skill for this job. You will also be required to move bikes around the warehouse to the rework area via a Forklift Truck.

The Successful Assembly Operative will:

* Ideally have experience in working within an assembly/ production environment, however training can be provided.

* Counterbalance/Forklift accredited licence (internal licences will not be accepted)

* Be a keen team player in a fast-paced environment, working along tight deadlines.

* Have excellent Timekeeping and Attendance.
