Overview
We are recruiting for an Inspection Operative to join a leading manufacturer within the aerospace sector. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail who is looking for a hands-on role with full training provided.
Hours39 hours per week. Monday–Thursday: 6:30am – 3:30pm. Friday: 6:30am – 11:30am. Two paid 15-minute breaks on Monday–Thursday;
One 30-minute unpaid lunch;
One paid 15-minute break on Friday.
- £12.21 per hour + bonuses
- Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) bonus scheme — up to £3,600 tax-free per year (historically £2,400/yr paid)
- Trimming and buffing aerospace-grade rubber components
- Visual and dimensional inspection
- Packing finished components
- Completing and checking basic traceability paperwork
- Working with accuracy and consistency to meet quality standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Good dexterity and ability to sit or stand for periods
- Previous experience in a similar inspection/production role is desirable but full training is provided
