Maintenance Manager

• Contract: 12 months (potential to extend)
• Working Week: 37.5 hours per week
• Pay Rate: £38.38 per hour

Are you a strong leader with proven experience in maintenance planning and execution within a manufacturing environment? Join a dynamic facility in Desford undergoing major investment and focusing on a 3-year improvement plan.

This is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension or permanent placement.

You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of approximately 30 people (including 4 Team Leaders) to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.

• Manage, coach, and develop a large team of maintenance technicians.
• Develop and implement preventive/predictive maintenance strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Monitor and report on maintenance KPIs (e.g., work order completion).

• Experience: 3-5 years of proven maintenance planning/execution experience in manufacturing.
• Top Skill: Exceptional leadership and people management skills are the number one priority.
• Qualifications: Level 3 equivalent qualification in engineering (e.g., City & Guilds) preferred.
• Technical: Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office.
