Salary: starting £28,900 and rising to £30,400 when role triggers are met + 20% shift allowance

You’ll have a structured development plan with regular pay increases as you complete training and build new skills. Your progression is performance-driven, and within 2–3 years you could advance to the next grade, starting at £35,200 and rising to £39,000.

We are looking for a proactive Manufacturing Engineering Support Technician who is ready to join our world class manufacturing facility. You will be of a highly focused team of Engineers and Technicians within the Manufacturing Engineering department whose work leads the implementation of the latest manufacturing technologies and introducing the latest machines.
WhatYou Will Do
- Driving manufacturing best practices into the production environment.
- Complete root cause analysis for quality & inefficiency improvements to implement robust process containment measures.
- Facilitate the development of manufacturing process solutions work with functional teams, using a range of tool e.g. process flows, PFMEA’s, control plans. Promote lean and quality as a focus within the business.
- CAD software utilisation;
Design of jigs, fixtures, updating floor plans and completing virtual builds. - Adhere to the company's Health and Safety policy and safe working practices.

What You May Have- Good understanding of building and construction equipment Assembly, Test or Finish processes and production
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety Awareness and Controls Safety.
- Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter would be advantageous.
Experience of quality concern resolution with tools such as 8D, 5why, fishbone diagrams and other appropriate quality tools
