Global Contract Logistics Engineering function supports interaction and delivery for Major Global Account (defined as a Contract Logistics customer running DP World core operational systems in multiple Countries with annual revenue spend of >$100m).

The Regional Client Account Engineer role supports the account and operational teams with high-quality Engineering Solutions for the major global accounts within Contract Logistics. The role is focused on ensuring operational excellence, process standardization, and the delivery of innovative solutions within region. The Client Account Engineer has frequent interaction with internal support teams, operational sites, key account management and key clients.

• Manage and Deliver engineering tasks for designated accounts, ensuring alignment with Operational needs, internal operational goals and our customers medium/long term vision.
• Drive the Operational Engineering Excellence and efficiency program for your designated sites.
• Directly support the engineering aspects of client business expansions and contract renewals to help secure future growth.
• Drive, manage and execute contractual cost savings for Dell and DPW

• Maintain a strong working relationship with key internal teams, including Operations, IT, Automation & Innovation to ensure identification of improvements and smooth delivery of solutions.
• Collaborate with regional Site Operations and Account Management teams to ensure that Operational/Engineering solutions are aligned and targets are met
• Work on global engineering projects with the various cross functional departments

• Working directly with major clients Engineering Teams, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement in all engineering-related matters.
• Deliver engineering support for account renewals, including automation & solution design, costing and presenting technical materials during the process.

• Define, Implement and monitor Operational Engineering standards and procedures to ensure the highest levels of quality and consistency in service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to DP World’s engineering best practices and compliance with safety & quality standards.

• Analyze monthly DPW site profitability, workload and staffing to identify future cost and capacity improvement projects
• Manage the production of regular progress reports for engineering management and Regional Leadership, highlighting key metrics, accomplishments and areas for improvement.
• Support monthly global engineering review meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to track progress and align on future priorities

• Involved in the execution of major multi million dollar investment engineering projects, including the development and deployment of new logistics solutions, process changes and site expansions.
• Coordinate with site teams and global departments to ensure project deliverables meet timelines, budgets and technical specifications.

• Engineering related degree - Logistics, Manufacturing, Production, Mechanical or equivalent professional experience
• Several years of experience in a multi-national enterprise environment. Understanding Supply chain/Technology logistics is required. Experience and understanding of Process Engineering measurement and Timing (MTM / MOST) and software systems (AutoCAD, Solid Works, advanced MS Excel, MS Project etc.) Experience with 3rd party logistics solutions and integration to Customer systems and local automation
• Good written, verbal, presentation, general communication skills. Ability to co‑coordinate the delivery of Engineering Solutions within the constraints of time, cost and functionality
• Specific 3PL Engineering experience with customized and extensively integrated Engineering solutions
• Flexibility with travel and working hours - work well within a multi-disciplined geographically disperse team
