The Sea Pines Resort is thrilled to announce the opening of Harbourtown Kids in early 2026. Harbourtown Kids will be a brand-new children’s boutique located in the heart of Harbour Town. This bright and cheerful shop will feature a thoughtfully curated selection of children’s apparel and gifts that celebrate the charm, adventure, and spirit of The Sea Pines Resort. Team members will have the exciting opportunity to be part of the store’s grand opening and play a key role in creating memorable shopping experiences for families and their little ones.
Harbourtown Kids is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Retail Sales Associate to join our opening team. The ideal candidate will have a warm personality, a love for children and families, and a passion for providing exceptional guest service in a fun, family‑friendly environment.
Responsibilities- Deliver an exceptional and friendly shopping experience for parents, children, and families.
- Assist guests in selecting children’s products, apparel, and gifts suited to their needs and preferences.
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and playful store atmosphere that delights guests of all ages.
- Execute visual merchandising and maintain product presentation standards including stocking, folding, and arranging displays.
- Support the management team in achieving store goals and promoting The Sea Pines Resort brand.
- Engage families in a professional and personable manner to ensure a positive and memorable experience.
- Participate in store events, promotions, and family activities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Prior retail or hospitality experience preferred; children’s retail experience a plus.
- Friendly, patient, and energetic personality.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a lively, family‑centered environment.
- Team‑oriented, dependable, and eager to contribute to a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and light lifting (up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs).
- Requires clear communication, visual focus, and use of hands for handling merchandise and displays.
- Ability to move and organize products throughout the store.
- Health, dental, vision, life, and other insurance after a 60‑day waiting period for full‑time employees.
