Novant Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Specialty to join our team in Hilton Head, South Carolina
. In this role, you will serve as a clinical leader within the care team, building meaningful relationships with patients and their support systems while collaborating closely with providers and interdisciplinary team members.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans. This position emphasizes evidence-based practice, strong clinical judgment, and compassionate care to support patients throughout their healthcare journey.
What You’ll DoAs a Registered Nurse in an ambulatory specialty setting, you will:
- Serve as a leader and advocate for patients within the care team.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
- Provide direct clinical care and coordinate services across the continuum of care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.
In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course, preferred. - Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in appropriate state, required. ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT, preferred.
