The Manufacturing Technician A (Laser Assembly Technician) focuses on laser transmitter manufacturing within a cleanroom environment. The role installs, aligns, and operates laser transmitters and components, assisting in build techniques to ensure successful product output from the cleanroom and laser operations area.

• Develops techniques and procedures for building lasers
• Assembles and tests optical, mechanical, and electrical subassemblies
• Completes optical bonding, cleaning, and inspection of laser units with high attention to detail
• Builds wiring harness, sells and performs PCB assembly of electrical and electrooptical subassemblies
• Identifies problems and issues, resolves most issues, and makes recommendations for improvements in yield
• Ensures that specified quality standards are met for all tasks completed
• Demonstrates ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values
• Performs job duties in a manner that maintains compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and procedures
• Follows established processes to complete tasks
  All other assignments as required

• Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 0 to 2 years of prior relevant experience

3+ years contributing in a manufacturing environment is a plus

• Must be a United States Citizen or US Person as defined by ITAR
• Able to work weekends and evenings as required to meet company objectives
