Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time HOUSEKEEPER positions at Novant Health Hilton Head Hospital, 25 Hospital Center Boulevard, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926. Online applications are accepted only. Schedule is full time with days that may vary; 1st shift is 7:30 am – 4:00 pm and 3rd shift is 11:00 pm – 7:00 am. Rotating weekends and holidays. Fixed pay rate: $17.00 per hour.

Training is available for those without prior housekeeping experience.

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers; disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers; wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as required; realigns furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Responds to guest queries and housekeeping problems (e.g., spills, broken glasses).
• Contributes to team efforts with professionalism toward customers and colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Willing to train for the role.
