Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort – Seasonal Position – Hiring Bonus
Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort is looking for applicants to help create magic with them this summer. Available roles may include:
- Recreation / Lifeguard
- Food and Beverage
- Custodial
- Houseperson
Hourly rate starting at $20.00 per hour plus $750 signing bonus

Limited time $750 hiring bonus only available from now until March 1, 2026
$750 hiring bonus: first payment after 90 days = $250, second payment after 150 days = $500.
To be eligible for the sign‑on bonus, cast members must be continuously in the position for at least 90 days after hire and employed by The Walt Disney Company at the time of payment. If hired after March 1, 2026 or before January 21, 2026, they will not be eligible for the incentive award. Bonus payments are subject to applicable taxes and legal withholding.
Disputes concerning eligibility will be resolved by Walt Disney World Recruitment in its sole and absolute discretion.
Recreation cast members rotate through lifeguard, children's activities, and recreation rentals. Responsibilities include supervising guest safety while swimming, providing emergency medical attention as a first responder, shallow‑water lifeguarding, facilitating guest activities and programs (arts & crafts, games, campfire songs), selling programs, renting equipment, and providing guest information. Appropriate certifications are required and provided by the resort.
Food and BeverageThe environment is friendly but fast‑paced. Duties may include taking guest orders, operating the point‑of‑sale system, handling cash, fulfilling orders, preparing food, stocking items, keeping inventory, and maintaining Disney’s cleanliness standards. You will be trained on resort knowledge to answer guests’ questions and provide the “Disney difference”.
CustodialCustodial cast members work in common areas. Responsibilities include cleaning tables, emptying trashcans, sweeping/mopping floors, and more. You will also be trained to answer questions about the resort and serve as the “friendly face” that makes a guest’s stay memorable.
HousepersonHousepersons create home‑away‑from‑home experiences for guests. Tasks include replenishing linens, amenities, supplies, disposing trash, interacting with guests, responding to requests, and providing directions and information.
Qualificações básicas- At least 18 years old
- Seasonal position requiring full availability of at least three days per week, including one weekend day, and on national/state holidays
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive, resourceful, flexible, self‑starter who takes initiative
- Problem‑solving skills and desire to continually improve
