Dietary Aide

The Cypress of Hilton Head is actively seeking a hospitality-focused Dietary Aide to join our dedicated team. Our community offers various healthcare services, including two long-term skilled neighborhoods, one short-term skilled neighborhood, and one memory support neighborhood. As we expand, we are looking for passionate individuals to support our healthcare team. The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in transporting food from our main kitchen and serving our residents, requiring comfort in a fast-paced and caring environment.

Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for working with seniors are crucial. Our commitment to the safety and care of our residents and team is our top priority. The starting rate is $18 per hour, tiered based on experience.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read, write, speak English, and perform simple math calculations.

Works indoors; must be able to stand/walk for 100% of the workday; must be able to lift and carry menu sets and stock weighing up to 25 lbs. independently; must be able to sit for several hours at a time and have good manual dexterity to use a writing implement. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and balance frequently throughout the workday.

May be exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals, communicable diseases including the HIV and Hepatitis B virus, and offensive odors.
