Clinical Care Partner

Novant Health is looking for a Clinical Care Partner to function similarly to a Medical Assistant in coordinating the clinical and administrative tasks that keep the clinic running smoothly.

  Perform and document preliminary exams (vitals, height, weight), interview patients for history/needs, and assist clinicians with examinations, treatments, tests, and procedures within the scope of practice.
• Provide clinical support and ensure safety by monitoring patient conditions, notifying the care team of any changes or abnormal data (vitals, blood glucose), keeping exam rooms clean per protocol, and restocking routine supplies.
• Handle clerical, administrative, and billing duties including patient registration, scheduling, check‑out, greeting patients, verifying demographics and insurance, collecting co‑payments, and coding nursing visits/procedures for billing.
• Participate in team‑based care with open, professional communication, and maintain continual competence through annual clinical reviews Helpful skills check‑offs and mandatory education.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience:
  • Two years Acute experience for CNA 1, preferred.
  • One Elektrit… (Take care of the rest).
• Licensure/Certification:
  • NA I in good standing within the NA registry; or required.
  • NA II in good standing with NA II certification-elew;
    Or required.
  • EMT current credential in appropriate state; or Required.

• Additional Skills (required):
  • Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation.
