SummaryCertified Medical Assistant Full Time Days. Novant Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population.

- Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required. - Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program;
Medical Assistant curriculum must include pharmacology and medication administration. Certification/registry must be obtained by the last day of the sixth month of hire, and an education agreement signed. Certification/registry accepted: CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), RMA (AMT), ARMA (AMT), NHCWA, NCCT, NAHP, AAH. Alternative work experience and eligibility criteria apply as described in the original posting. - Experience:
Previous work in a medical office, preferred. - Licensure/Certification:
Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA; required. - Additional skills:
Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
