This is an entry-level position with the Department of Human Services, Benefit, Employment and Support Services Division.
Salary: $4,243 per month (SR-16, Step
D)
This recruitment will establish a list of qualified candidates for both Permanent and Temporary vacancies. Temporary employees may gain civil service membership after satisfactory completion of a six-month probation period, enabling promotion and transfer opportunities.
Duties: The role involves training in basic principles and techniques of human services work, with cases assigned for orientation and development. Supervision is close, and work is reviewed for compliance and potential growth.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least 12 semester hours in counseling, criminal justice, human services, psychology, social work, sociology, or related fields.
- Ability to write reports, interpret complex material, and solve problems systematically.
- Some positions require a valid driver’s license.
