Sales Associate

Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Sales Associate, you'll be a key part of our success by providing excellent customer service, sharing your fandom knowledge, stocking and replenishing products, and merchandising the store in a visually appealing way, all while focusing on the in-store experience.

• Provide an exceptional shopping experience that encourages customers to return. Impress them with your product knowledge, customer service skills, and enthusiasm for pop culture.
• Maintain the sales floor and ensure areas meet visual standards.
• Operate the register, process sales transactions, and promote add-on sales through benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Assist with planogram changes including store layout, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry.
• Assist in maintaining the stock room and keeping the store tidy.
• Work as part of a team to achieve store goals, demonstrating communication and collaboration skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader.

• Previous retail experience is preferred. A love for music and pop culture is a plus!
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• You must be at least 16 years old to join the team.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay rate: $14.00 - $14.70 per hour. The final salary will depend on factors such as education, location, experience, and training.
