** - Are you ready to make a significant impact in patient care? - Join our 15-bed Progressive Care Unit featuring:
- 3 Step Down ICU Beds - 12 Telemetry Beds - Experience a stimulating work environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of:
- 1:4 for Progressive Care - 1:3 for Step Down ICU

* Schedule:
** - Exciting varied shifts with 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation - Flexible scheduling with no guarantee of hours - No on-call responsibilities
** Your Role:** - Provide primary nursing care with a focus on telemetry monitoring - Conduct telemetry strip readings and fingerstick blood sugar tests
** Equipment You'll Utilize:** - Meditech charting system - Pyxis for medication administration - BIPAP and continuous cardiac monitoring systems

* Qualifications:
** - Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital acute care within the last year - Preferred experience in Progressive Care and telemetry - Required certifications:
- ACLS preferred - Current PALS preferred - NIHSS certification preferred
** Floating Requirements:** - Willingness to float to all acute units in-house including:
- Medical - Surgical/Peds - ICU - ER
** Dress Code:** - Scrubs
