• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days — 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly)
• Unit: Emergency Room (28 beds; 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, 22 cardiac monitor rooms)
• Open Positions: 3 ER Registered Nurse roles
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1800-$1890/week

• Minimum 1 year recent experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) or ED nurse
• Active RN license in the State of Hawaii OR ability to obtain Hawaii RN license prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) — American Heart Association preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Preferred certifications:
  Procedural Sedation, TMCC, EMPC (trauma/critical care training a plus)
• Must be available to arrive the Thursday prior to start date for onboarding and employee health appointment

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy emergency department (ED)
• Triage, assess, monitor, and treat patients with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Function effectively in a team-oriented, high-acuity environment with rapid patient turnover
• Utilize advanced cardiac monitoring, trauma nursing, and resuscitation skills
• Attend to patients in trauma bays, behavioral health rooms, and monitored cardiac rooms
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Participate in ongoing professional development, ED training, and compliance requirements

• Hands-on emergency nursing experience in a 28-bed ER with trauma and monitored cardiac capabilities
• Opportunity to advance emergency nursing and trauma care skills while working on Hawaii's Big Island
