Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg for a 13-week contract assignment in Hilo, HI. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in the medical-surgical unit while working closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients
Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure effective patient care
Requirements:
Active RN license in Hawaii or compact state license
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
