Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring an LPN with a minimum of 1 year of experience for a long-term care assignment in Hawaii, requiring flexibility across varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Job Details

• Long-term care (LTC) facility located on the grounds of a hospital,

• Patient care involves assessments, medication administration, admissions/discharges, ADL assistance, and a range of specialized treatments,

• Specialized procedures include gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized treatments, wound vac care, CPAP care, and tracheostomy care,

• Scheduled for 8-hour shifts on a varied rotation, including weekends and holidays,

• Shift preferences and hours are not guaranteed - candidates must be fully flexible,

Job Requirements

• Current Hawaii LPN license required upon acceptance - license required if applicable,

• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience required,

• Current BLS/BCLS certification required,

• Proof of flu vaccination required prior to contract start date,

• Full flexibility to work varied 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessments, treatments, medication administration, MD/NP notification of pertinent clinical information, and assistance with ADLs,

• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the start of their assignment for a mandatory clearance appointment at the facility's Employee Health office,

• Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before their Monday start date in order to attend the Employee Health appointment on Friday morning,

• Flu vaccination may be administered during the Employee Health clearance appointment if not already obtained,
