We are seeking an experienced OB Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in an acute care setting. This role requires a well-rounded nurse skilled in Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum (PP), and Nursery (NSY) care. The ideal candidate is confident managing laboring patients, assisting with deliveries, and providing immediate newborn and post-delivery maternal care.

• Active Hawaii RN License required by start of assignment
• Travelers without an active Hawaii license must apply upon offer acceptance

• 13-week contract
• Variable shifts (Days and Nights)
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week following first week of orientation
• Scheduled 12-hour call at least once per month
• No guarantee of hours or shift preference
• Holiday coverage required
• Must arrive the Thursday prior to start date for employee health appointment on Friday

• Provide care for laboring mothers
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret tracings
• Deliver immediate newborn care
• Provide postpartum assessment and education for mothers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary OB team

• Labor & Delivery: 8 labor beds
• Postpartum: 18 beds

• EMR: EPIC
• Fetal Monitoring System: GE/Centricity
• Computerized charting system

• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Strong competency in L&D, postpartum, and newborn care

• BLS (BCLS) – Required
• NRP – Required
• STABLE – Recommended
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring – Recommended
