* Job Description:
** - Are you ready to make a significant impact in patient recovery? - Become an integral part of our post-anesthesia care unit! - Utilize your advanced knowledge of anesthesiology while caring for patients in Phase I and Phase II recovery.
- Perform critical assessments, monitoring incision sites, body temperature, and vital indicators for stability and any potential complications.
- Engage with patients post-surgery, ensuring their comfort and safety during recovery.

* What We’re Looking For:
** - A passionate nurse with
** 2+ years of critical care experience** (ER & ICU experience may substitute for PACU experience).
- A valid
** BLS
* * and
** ACLS
* * certification from the American Heart Association.
- A valid professional license in the state of practice, with a
** Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
** credential being recommended.
- Additional specialty-related certifications (i.e., NIHSS & TNCC) are preferred for specific positions.
** Essentials of the Role:** - Work with state-of-the-art equipment:
Meditech, PCA Pumps, Pyxis, Braun IV Pumps, Cryocuff, SCD's, Bair PAWS Warmers, HP Monitors, and Phillips Monitors.
- Embrace flexibly scheduled shifts — 8, 10, or 12 hours during Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends/Holidays.
- Be prepared for
** On-Call shifts** (0-3 times per month for 8-hour nights and 24-hour weekends/holidays).
- No guaranteed hours or shift preferences, allowing for a dynamic and varied work experience.
