Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a RN with long term care experience and a Hawaii RN license for a flexible position in a hospital-based setting.
Responsibilities- Work in a long term care facility located onsite at a hospital
- 8-hour varied shifts with weekend and holiday coverage required
- No guarantee of shift preference; flexibility in schedule is necessary
- Care may include gastrostomy tube, urinary catheter, wound vac, CPAP, and tracheostomy management
- Responsibilities include assessments, treatments, medication administration, admissions, discharges, ADL assistance, and communicating with providers
- All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start
- Plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before assignment start to attend Employee Health appointment the following day
- Active RN license in the State of Hawaii required by assignment start date
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- Must apply for Hawaii RN license upon acceptance if not already held
