As a PACU RN, you’ll assume responsibility for postoperative assessments, continuous monitoring, cardiovascular and respiratory support, pain and antiemetic management, wound assessment, and timely escalation when needed. You’ll coordinate with anesthesia teams to optimize recovery plans, implement discharge instructions, and educate patients and families about post-anesthesia care. This role emphasizes critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and effective communication, with room for growth into leadership, education, or specialty nursing pathways within the PACU continuum.
You’ll benefit from a competitive weekly pay range of $1,908–$1,925, with housing assistance, a supportive bonus structure, and clear pathways for extension opportunities that reward reliability and clinical excellence.
