floating between medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units

adapt quickly with limited orientation
Licensure & Compliance

Active Hawaii RN license by start date

(must apply immediately upon offer if not active)
No medical or religious exemptions accepted

– full proof of immunity required
BLS required
ACLS preferred
Strongly preferred certifications:

PALS, TNCC, ENPC, Procedural Sedation
Clinical Skills They Expect

Solid

Med-Surg nursing skills

Experience with :

Chest tubes
Wound vacs
Pyxis
Meditech EMR

Ability to handle

higher nurse-to-patient ratios

when needed
Schedule & Flexibility

12-hour day shifts (0645–1915)
36 hours/week after orientation
No guaranteed hours
Willing to float to:

Medical Unit
Laulima (Surgical Acute)
Cardiovascular Unit (rare)

Work Environment Expectations
