RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Acute Care Med Surg Adult
Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week

• Provide care in a 34-bed adult surgical unit

• Maintain nurse to patient ratio of 1 RN to 5-6 patients

• Perform standard RPN III duties and skills

• Provide knowledgeable surgical pre and postoperative care

• Handle various surgical procedures including abdominal surgeries, laparoscopic cholecystectomy/appendectomy, mastectomies, thyroidectomies, chest tubes, and drains

• Utilize equipment including vital signs machines, IV & PCA pumps, WOWS/EMR charting, and Pyxis

• May be assigned to float to other units as needed

• Minimum 2 years of RPN III experience required for proficiency in duties and role

• Strong work experience in pre/postoperative nursing required

• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

• Hawaii state nursing license required by start of assignment

• Dress code requires regular nursing uniforms
