Description:WHAT WE'RE DOING At Lockheed Martin, we're proud to support the U.S. Navy’s undersea warfare mission through our work at the MK48 Torpedo Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) in Pearl Harbor. Our dedicated teams ensure torpedoes remain ready and reliable by delivering comprehensive maintenance, reconditioning, and refurbishment services in a high-tempo, team-based production environment.
The WorkAs a Supervisor, you will lead a multifunctional team performing critical work on MK48 torpedoes. You will coordinate technical training, mentor personnel, and oversee the full spectrum of maintenance and assembly operations. This role blends hands-on technical engagement with strategic leadership and team development.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading performance management, mentoring, and development planning for team members
- Coordinating training, qualifications, and proficiency assessments
- Overseeing technical operations including system/component assembly and installation
- Reviewing completed work packages for accuracy and compliance
- Serving as a team lead and safety observer for ordnance handling and accountability
- Collaborating with HR and senior management on employee development, morale, and succession planning
- Driving process improvement and aligning team goals with programmatic strategy
- All maintenance actions must be performed in accordance with NAVSEA Technical Manuals and standards of excellence.

Supervisory experience in performing Ordnance operations and maintenance activities of a similar nature to that which would be performed under the contract.
- Experience in the assembly/disassembly of mechanical systems;
- Torpedo assembly/disassembly experience or equivalent systems.
- Torpedo Operations and Maintenance at the Intermediate or Depot level.
- Ordnance Handling operation management
- Computer literacy in operation of MS Office type tools
- Maintenance process documentation control
- Experience working with Electrical circuits, computers and automated test equipment theory
- Team Leadership experience with technical teams.
- Earning/Maintaining technical and administrative job specific qualifications
- Qualifications in assembly of MK48 Torpedo component/groups
- Former Military Leadership.
- Personnel management acumen in accordance with full spectrum leadership
- Continuous process improvement
- Ordnance handling Team Lead/Safety Observer
- Root cause analysis and corrective action plans processes
- Knowledge of MK48 (or similar weapons system) maintenance procedures and operations.
- Knowledge of DoD/Navy regulations/Standards
- Ordnance Handling Procedural knowledge/application as Team Lead/Safety Observer
- Capable of planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of administrative, program, and technical personnel
- Demonstrated group leadership in manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated interpersonal relationship and customer service skills
