* Job Description:
** - Embrace an exciting opportunity in our Progressive Care Unit! - Be part of a dynamic 15 bed unit: 3 Step Down ICU and 12 Telemetry.
- Enjoy a 1:4 patient ratio for Progressive Care and 1:3 for Step Down ICU.
** Shift Information:** - Scheduled for 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation.
- No guarantee of hours, so flexibility is key.
- No on-call shifts required.
** Your Responsibilities:** - Provide primary nursing care with exceptional attention to detail.
- Conduct telemetry monitoring and accurately read telemetry strips.
- Perform fingerstick blood sugar tests as needed.
** Equipment You'll Use:** - Meditech charting systems.
- Pyxis for medication management.
- BIPAP and continuous cardiac monitoring devices.

* Qualifications:
** - Minimum of 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year.
- Progressive care and telemetry experience preferred.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Current PALS certification preferred.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
** Floating Requirements:** - Willingness to float to all acute units in-house, including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER as necessary.
** Dress Code:** - Scrubs are the standard attire.
