World Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CCU - Coronary Care for a travel nursing job in Hilo, Hawaii.

ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Varied Shifts

Contract

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a critical care team for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate is flexible with scheduling, highly skilled in intensive care, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients using the nursing process
• Perform and assist with ICU-level procedures and patient monitoring
• Accurately document patient care and outcomes using electronic medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other critical care or step-down units as needed

• ICU with 11 beds
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 2:1
• Equipment/EMR:
  Meditech (unit), EPIC (facility-wide)
• Dress Code:
  Professional scrubs

• Must be flexible for day or night shifts based on staffing needs
• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours) following orientation
• Up to 40 hours of orientation during the first week
• Additional requirement: 2 on-call 12-hour shifts per 4-week roster period

• Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU experience
• Active Hawaii RN license (must be obtained by start of assignment if not already held)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (or ability to complete during orientation)

• Ability to float to other critical care or step-down units as needed
• Must arrive prior to assignment start to complete pre-employment health requirements
• Holiday coverage required
