Job Description

This position provides clerical support by performing a variety of complex clerical tasks that includes assembling and maintaining medical records, assists in the review of medical records for completeness and accuracy, verifies authorizations for compliance, files and retrieves charts and records and performs other duties as assigned.

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements. Please note that unless specifically indicated, the required education and experiences may not be gained concurrently. In addition, qualifying work experience is credited based on a 40-hour workweek.

High school diploma or equivalent.

One (1) year of work experience which involved performance of a variety of clerical tasks which demonstrated knowledge of English grammar, spelling, arithmetic, common office appliances and equipment; and the ability to read and understand oral and written instructions, carry out procedures in clerical work systems, speak and write simply and directly, compare words and numbers quickly and accurately, operate various kinds of office equipment.
