First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Head Teller to join our EOSD – Money Processing Center. As a Head Teller, you will assist in the supervision of staff in the daily processing and workflow. You will ensure branch and customer satisfaction through accurate, courteous, and timely service in the verification and processing of deposits and fulfillment of change orders. Responsibilities also include internal department certifications as well as assisting with ensuring regulatory and audit compliance.
HoursMonday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Work hours may vary)
CompensationThe hourly pay range for this role is $17.50 - $24.00/hr; commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate's degree or higher with emphasis in Business (Preferred)
- 2 years' teller experience in bank operations
- General knowledge of general ledger accounts, deposit processing and operation reports
- Strong cash handling skills with demonstrated accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
- Good customer relations
- Strong mathematical skills
- Attention to detail, sound judgement and discretion regarding confidential information
- Able to use 10 key adding machine by touch
- Proficient use of PC word processing and spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
