This position is located in Hilo, Hawai'i. The East Hawaii Region (EHR) of Hawaii Health Systems Corporation includes Hilo Medical Center, Ka’u Hospital, Hale Ho’ola Hamakua, Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home and the network of primary and specialty clinics within the East Hawaii Health Clinics. It is part of the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation.

Summary:

The function of the East Hawaii Health Cancer Center (EHHCC) is to provide outpatient comprehensive oncology/ hematology services. We have both Radiation and Medical Oncology/ Hematology services available  providers also rotate through the hospital performing inpatient consultations. This position would be joining a team of two other Radiation Oncologists.

The Radiation Oncologist provides professional medical assessment and care to the patients of EHHCC and Hilo Medical Center. The physician is responsible for coordinating and rendering professional medical advice and making decisions. East Hawaii Cancer Center has a Varian True Beam, ARIA EMR and Eclipse treatment planning software.

Education Requirements:

Licensure: Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Hawaii.
