We are seeking a dedicated, board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to join the team in Hilo, Hawaii. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia care for a broad range of surgical cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, GI endoscopy, and other specialties.
- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
- Pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up, including pain management.
- Supervise and/or collaborate with CRNAs and other members of the anesthesia care team.
- Participate in perioperative planning and safety initiatives.
- Respond to emergency airway management and codes when needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Hawaii
- Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (PALS preferred
