Your Impact:

You will provide entry-level support to the project team, assisting with documentation, coordination, and communication between the field and the office. In this developmental role, you will become familiar with Executive Construction’s Policies & Procedures and core values while learning the fundamentals of project management. Your responsibilities focus on supporting the Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure project efficiency and accuracy.

Preconstruction

/ Estimating / Bidding
  • Assist with compiling bid lists of qualified trade contractors.
  • Help distribute bid drawings and specifications.
  • Support takeoff and quantity measurement efforts under guidance from the Project Manager.
  • Track and record bid responses for review by the Project Manager.
  • Research and document long‑lead materials for tracking purposes.
  • Participate in site visits to understand existing conditions (with supervision).
Proposals / Contracts
  • Assist in preparing draft scope sheets for review by the Project Manager.
  • Help collect and organize subcontractor and vendor information.
  • Maintain logs for contract documents and ensure proper distribution.
Purchasing
  • Support the submittal process by preparing logs and tracking submission dates.
  • Help gather and compile product data, shop drawings, and samples for review.
  • Assist in verifying submittal packages are complete before routing for approval.
Job Management
  • Prepare and update RFI logs, submittal logs, and change order logs.
  • Take meeting minutes during project and coordination meetings assigned.
  • Distribute updated drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
  • Assist in field coordination by relaying information from the office to the jobsite.
  • Participate in jobsite walks with the Project Manager or Superintendent to gain field exposure.
Closeout Support
  • Help compile O&M manuals, warranty information, and as‑built drawings.
  • Assist in tracking punch list items to completion.
Business Development
  • Enhance Executive Construction’s reputation with partners and clients through performance.
  • Expand your network by attending appropriate social and business events.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with a variety of people, including owners, managers, designers, supervisors, tradespersons, and craft workers.

Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or similar program or relative construction experience.
  • Internship or similar experience in construction industry preferred but not required.
Annual Pay Range:

$75,000 - $80,000
